Yes, we are currently unable to cover the following boat types:

• Any boat with a top speed of over 50 knots
• Trimarans
• Any boat used commercially/for business use
• Any boat over 50ft, unless it’s used on inland waters only (Excluding lochs & lakes)
• Barges - (With the exception of Dutch barges, our Narrowboat scheme is suitable for these vessels)

If you select Hull, Machinery & Public Liability cover any equipment that is attached/part of the boat is covered. The equipment is covered for theft, loss or damage is but not wear & tear.

Cover for Personal Effects is not included as standard however it is an available cover option. The single article limit for personal effects is £350. Excludes valuables such as Jewellery, Cash and Mobile devices.

NOTE: Equipment cover is not available on Public Liability Only Policies.

Yes, the Jet Ski must be kept in a locked/secure building, and the standard Third Party Liability limit is £1 million.

We offer the option to upgrade the Third Party Liability limit to £3 million for an additional cost.

Please be aware there is no cover available for towing wakeboards/water skiers or any other toy/inflatable item, these are all excluded from cover.

All our boat policies come with £3 million Third Party Liability cover as standard, this can be increased to £5 million upon your request.

Please be aware that all Jet Ski policies come with £1 million Third Party Liability as standard. This can be upgraded to £3 million for an additional cost.

Cover is available whilst the boat is being towed on a trailer for boats Under 27ft. Note: You will not be covered for any liability to other road users, please check with your motor insurer if you require this cover.
